1. The Yellow Collective kicks off a new art contest with 1 million $MOXIE in rewards

The yellow collective hosts a new rounds art contest where you can win from a prize pool of 1 million $MOXIE. The prompt is simple, create an original piece of art in any style or medium that features Maxi, Moxie's official mascot and post it in the /yellow channel on Farcaster. The contest will run until October 25, 2024.

2. Interface now allows you to filter top traders by Farcaster users

Interface is a social app that allows you to see what your friends on Farcaster are doing onchain, including their trades, mints, and NFT creations. Now, you can filter who the top traders are, which allows you to copy-trade them.

3. DEGEN is going DeFi this week

First up, Degen's friends at Beefy just dropped a DEGEN-ETH vault with up to 200% APY. While the percentage is lucrative, do exercise caution and do your own research before putting in some liquidity.

PancakeSwap is also offering $CAKE rewards for users who add liquidity to their own DEGEN-ETH pool with 0.05% on Base.

The Degen team also updated the vault user interface on the official degen website with tooltips and clearer labels to help anyone having trouble.

4. Ham launches on Solana

In a fun twist of events, Deployer deploys the Ham memecoin on Solana. This move was done since emojis were being deployed to Solana, and Deployer took the initiative to get the Ham emoji coin before anyone else took it. 5. Moxie Community Call #7 is happening today

The Seventh Moxie Community Call is happening today, at 11 AM EST. You can RSVP through this link on Warpcast to join.

The focus for this week will be improving Moxie in ways for good contributors, weakening farmers, and limiting non-players.

6. Transactions are coming to mini-apps on Farcaster

Mini-apps are about to get much more fun to use. Dan Romero stated that transactions are coming to mini apps soon. This means that you will be able to transact within the mini-app itself which reduces friction when interacting with different projects onchain.

7. a16zcrypto releases their State of Crypto report, including some data about Farcaster

The latest State of Crypto report from a16z shares key insights on several key trends that have popped of recently, including stablecoins, L2s, and AI.
