Farcaster Channels Can Now be Turned Public
In a recent update, Dan Romero shares that channels can allow anyone to cast in that channel through the use of the new public mode feature. The public mode feature allows non-channel members to cast in the channel. However, it is not guaranteed for that cast to go to the channel feed, which is a perk for channel members.
Base is Hiring Interns

Buoy Announces It Is Now Free for Everyone
Buoy is a search query application for Farcaster where you can search casts, with various filters. Previously, Buoy is pay-walled per month. Now, anyone can freely use Buoy, as announced by one of the creators, Michael Pfister.
