AI Pets Update from Woj: Almost Ready for Launch
Woj, founder of Supercast, shared an exciting update on the much-anticipated AI Pets feature. Though the team aimed to create 1,000 high-quality, AI-driven Farcaster accounts in just 4 days, it turns out they need a bit more time. An invite-only rollout is set to start later this week.
Here’s what to expect from AI Pets:
Every Supercast user will receive 3 unique pets tailored to their personality.
Users can choose one pet to receive its own Farcaster account.
The selected pet will interact independently, posting and engaging as a virtual companion.
In Woj’s vision, the best case is for each user to gain a new digital friend; the best best case sees these pets building their own followings; and in the best best best case, they may even help combat loneliness. Stay tuned for more updates from Woj as AI Pets get closer to launch!
DEGEN Project: Tip Allowance Update on Farcaster
The DEGEN team on Farcaster has resolved the recent 3-day rollover issue affecting tip allowances. This update introduces persistent allowances, eliminating the need for historical recalculations that could invalidate valid tips, providing a more stable user experience. While DEGEN continues collaborating with @openrank to address missing data, users may notice slightly lower allowance amounts for today and yesterday.
