Today's Updates:

The Base team is building a Farcaster feed directly into Coinbase Wallet, and the implications are huge:

• Bigger Audience for Casts: Every cast will reach more people.

• Greater Reach for Developers: Frames and apps can now engage an even larger audience.

• Stronger Protocol Support: Another major client is building on Farcaster, bringing more resources and visibility to the ecosystem.

What’s Coming in Coinbase Wallet:

• Helping Builders Go Viral: New tools to amplify onchain creators.

• Farcaster Social Graph: A Farcaster feed integrated directly into the app.

• 10x Faster Performance: A major speed upgrade.

• New Branding: A fresh look and feel for the wallet.

This integration marks a significant step forward for Farcaster and the broader onchain ecosystem.

Derek from Native has shared exciting updates about the upcoming Passports v2, which is being built as a full app. Here’s what’s coming:

• Update Your Passport: Change your signature, improve your verification score, or perfect your Print—all in one place.

• Neighbor List: Access your Neighbors directly in the app, with search and filter capabilities just like on the website.

• Neighbor Map: A new map feature lets you see nearby Neighbors, paving the way for local meetups and block parties.

• Scan to Stamp: Use your phone’s camera to scan QR codes and add Stamps to your Passport onchain. Think of Stamps as Farcaster-native POAPs—stay tuned for their debut at /ethdenver.

Warpcast is doubling down on rewarding great content creators:

• Audience Size: Now ~1,000 people (up from 500).

• Reward Pool: Now ~15,000 USDC (up from 10,000).

The goal? To make Farcaster the easiest place to earn if you’re creating original, interesting content.

Algorithm Tweaks:
To ensure fairness, the algorithm is being adjusted to address:

• Giveaways: Incentivizing engagement through token giveaways rather than great content.

• Farming: Accounts boosting each other in rings, even with unoriginal content.

While a little of this is fine, obvious farming attempts will now be discounted. As a result, scores may be lower overall this week.
