Hey everyone, it’s Benderr.eth here. Yes, not Kyle Patrick. We decided to give him a 24 hour vacation from newsletter writing and now you’re stuck with me. Yay! Right!? Don't answer that. Anyways, today we’re going to be talking about my favourite app at the moment, Interface. Let's get right into today's Ambassador Spotlight!
Whether you're a Web3 pro or just starting your crypto journey, Interface, led by @annoushka and @wijuwiju.eth, is a social trading app that makes exploring Ethereum simple and exciting. Designed to be user-friendly and approachable, Interface offers useful tools to help guide anyone through the Ethereum ecosystem with ease.
The most basic feature provided by Interface is also by far the most useful. The ability to monitor any wallet's onchain activity through a streamlined feed, supporting a vast array of protocols, assets, and transaction types. Opt-in to notifications and receive live updates sent directly to your device anytime someone you follow makes a transaction or mint.
Easily my favourite feature on the app, Interface offers a built-in copy trading feature. Copy trading allows users to automatically replicate the trades of experienced traders in real-time, enabling participation in the market without the need for in-depth trading knowledge.
Interface charges a small trading fee of 0.69% on all transactions made in-app. The benefit of this is that if you Copy Trade a user, that user gets 100% of all the swap fees generated from that copy trade. These fees will be claimable in two phases (referred to as faces on their website).
Phase 1 (Past - Dec 30th, 2024): Claimable now
Phase 2 (Dec 31st, 2024 - Ongoing): Claimable at a later date
You can access your claim by heading to their website here.
Another great feature on Interface is the ability to leave a comment on your transaction or mint. Not only can you leave a message saying something like “ggs” but you are also able to directly tag another interface user and/or leave a link. This helps users to feel a sense of connection and community, talking with each other under transactions and leaving links to sources that provide insight on why they made a certain purchase or mint.
One thing you'll notice as you spend more time on the app is the UI. The simple yet informative UI is perfect for everyone, from newly onboarded crypto users all the way to experienced degens. Let’s take a look at some of the best UI features on the app.
Contract Address, Ticker, Address of Token Creator
Link to Blockscout, Basescan, Dexscreener
Link to Warpcast Channel and Page, Token Website, Twitter, Telegram
Platform token was deployed on (Clanker, Virtuals, etc)
Creation date
# of holders
Market cap
Liquidity
24h Volume
Track all past transactions made by you and who you follow on that specific token
Track the top traders of the specific token
See a list of the top holders
The Explore page is the first thing you should familiarize yourself with on Interface. It’s the “hub” of the app, for lack of better words. On the page you can find:
Tokens you have “favourited”
Trending podcasts, Clankers and recently graduated Virtuals
Users you follow on Warpcast
Most followed, copied and trending users
Last but not least we have the profile page. The profile page has 4 main sections. The first is “Activity”, where you can see all your past transactions across many blockchains and L2s including but not limited to Ethereum, Optimism, Base and Zora. “Tokens” displays all the tokens you are currently invested in like a wallet app would. In “Collectibles”, you can view your NFTs. “Trades” is where you can see your all time profit/loss on tokens you invested in. In my case it’s where I go to reminisce on some of my horrible financial decisions I’ve made. “I put how much in POOP Coin????”. You get the idea.
And there you have it! Interface is an app that we at Ambassadors have genuinely enjoyed using and that I have spent about 3 hours on each day since I downloaded.
This was just a surface level overview of SOME of what the app has to offer, if you are interested in learning more I suggest heading over to their newly launched website or download the app on the App Store or Google Play.
Interface makes social trading easy. gg.
