Reminders for the Moxie Community

• 250,000,000 MOXIE Retro Grants Available: A reminder to all Moxie contributors—there are 250,000,000 $MOXIE available in retro grants for any contributions made to grow the Moxie Protocol between now and September 30th. Whether you're developing frames, actions, composers, apps, integrations, or creating content like explainers, videos, or viral tweets, your contributions are eligible. An application form will be provided soon, and projects will be judged based on their impact, with voting conducted by the Moxie DAO (currently organizing its operations). This is a fantastic opportunity to be rewarded for your creativity and hard work.

• Protocol Improvements in Progress: The Moxie team are also working on enhancements to the Moxie protocol that will allow everyday rewards recipients to contribute their rewards to causes or to their fans. These improvements aim to foster a more community-driven ecosystem where users can share the benefits of their engagement with others, further strengthening the Moxie network. 

Upcoming Feature: Customizing Moxie Rewards Allocation

• Moxie is introducing a new feature that allows users to customize how their rewards are allocated, which is scheduled to ship the week of August 18. Users will soon be able to adjust the percentage of rewards they keep versus the amount allocated to their fans, with the current default set at 50/20/20/10 when casting in channels, and 70/20/10 if not casting into a channel.

• In this new update, users will have the flexibility to choose a percentage greater than 20% to share with their fans. The UI will make it clear that 10% will always go to the network, and 20% to the channel if casted into one. This adjustment can be made through the Everyday Rewards frame/cast action. Additionally, Moxie is also working on enabling rewards to be allocated to different beneficiaries, such as charities or causes, without the user taking custody of the rewards. This feature promises to add a new level of personalization and generosity within the Moxie ecosystem.

Contract Allow Listing Now Available for Moxie Protocol

• Moxie has introduced a Contract Allow Listing process, enabling projects to interact with the Moxie Protocol, particularly with Fan Tokens. Many projects have requested their smart contracts be "allow listed" for various purposes, such as gameplay that requires the staking of Fan Tokens or wallets that facilitate the buying and selling of these tokens. By allowing your contract, you can facilitate transactions of Fan Tokens directly from your smart contracts, securely hold users' Fan Tokens, execute permitted functions on users' vesting contracts, and access Fan Tokens within a user's airdrop vesting contract. To take advantage of this opportunity, be sure to review the provided documentation carefully, as there are specific requirements that must be met for approval. A request form is also available to initiate the Allow Listing process.

Milestone Alert: Rapid Growth in the Moxie App Ecosystem

• Just two weeks after its launch on July 29th, the Moxie App Ecosystem has already achieved remarkable momentum, with over 40 frames, cast actions, and applications launched. This rapid growth showcases the enthusiasm and creativity of the community as they build and innovate within the Moxie platform. The Moxie team is thrilled to see such strong engagement and looks forward to the continued expansion of the ecosystem.

Moxie Jail: A Warning Against Moxiebating

• Moxie has introduced a feature called Moxie Jail, designed to maintain the integrity of the platform by cracking down on spam and farming activities. Jason Goldberg has issued a stern warning: engaging in "moxiebating"—attempting to earn Moxie through spamming or farming—is a surefire way to end up in Moxie Jail.

• The system is equipped with aggressive, automated farm-checks. If you trigger one of these checks, you will automatically be placed in Moxie Jail, losing your Moxie privileges. In addition to Moxie’s internal controls, Warpcast also has its own spam controls that will be triggered if your activity is deemed not valuable. This feature serves as a strong deterrent against abuse, ensuring that Moxie remains a fair and rewarding platform for genuine contributions.

Moxie’s Permissionless Fan Tokens Now Live

• Moxie has officially launched Permissionless Fan Tokens, allowing anyone to put up their profile and channels for Fan Token auctions. This new feature means that anyone can now launch their own fan tokens to the public, offering a new way for creators, influencers, and users to engage with their communities. By democratizing the process, Moxie is opening up exciting opportunities for individuals to monetize their influence and foster deeper connections with their supporters.

New Method for Calculating Everyday Rewards for Frames

• The Moxie team has rolled out a new method for calculating Everyday Rewards for Frames, now based on the Far Scores of users who engage with the frames. This update also allows frames to earn rewards for repeat usage, calculated once every 24 hours. To be eligible, frames must use Airstack's free frames validator, and the creator must have an Airstack account linked to a connected wallet or Farcaster account, validated with a Production Airstack API key. Rewards are split among the member who earned them, their Fans, Channel Fans, and Farcaster Fans, with Moxie protocol buying and burning Fan Tokens to enhance their value.

This tool is particularly useful for users looking to quantify the impact of their interactions and optimize their engagement strategies on Moxie.

   • basewtf.eth has created a robust frame that offers a detailed overview of your Moxie earnings and impact. This frame shows how much Moxie you’ve claimed to date, as well as the amount available to claim. Additionally, it provides key statistics, including today’s earnings, weekly earnings, and lifetime earnings. The frame also introduces a unique metric called FarImpact, which measures the Moxie you distribute through your engagement, offering insights into how your interactions contribute to the broader community.

2. Zeni.eth

   • Zeni.eth has created a new frame that allows users to view a Fan Token’s 24-hour price change graph. The frame also includes search functionality by FID or username and features convenient buy and sell buttons, enabling users to share the official Airstack frame directly. This tool provides a streamlined way to monitor and interact with Fan Token prices in real-time.

   • Zeni.eth has also introduced an open-source starter frame designed specifically for Moxie builders. This versatile tool includes several key features: an Airstack Validator where users can simply add their Airstack API key to earn Moxie rewards, a design built on @frames using TailwindCSS, and a comprehensive Readme with instructions for deploying on Vercel. Additionally, the starter frame includes a Cast Action Demo, making it a powerful resource for developers looking to create new frames within the Moxie ecosystem.

   • Compez.eth has developed a new frame that provides users with a quick and easy way to view their Airstack Far Score and Far Rank. This tool offers valuable insights into your standing within the Moxie ecosystem, helping you track your influence and performance on the platform.

   • Compez.eth has also expanded their offerings with a comprehensive all-in-one frame that provides users with a detailed overview of various key metrics. This frame displays your Far Rank, Far Score, Builder Rank, Builder Score, as well as your followers, OpenRank ranking, and various allowances. This tool consolidates essential information into one convenient location, making it easier for users to monitor their progress and influence across multiple aspects of the Moxie ecosystem.

   • Tempetechie.eth has launched the Moxie Gems Frame, a tool designed to help users find the best deals among fan token auctions or fan tokens already on the market. This frame also includes a filter for weekly earnings, allowing users to easily identify big Moxie earners and optimize their investment strategies.

   • Mvr has also introduced a frame that allows users to see who their biggest fans are.    • Mvr has introduced a new cast action that allows you to check whether someone owns your Fan Token.    • Nikolaiii has developed a new frame that provides detailed insights into your most traded Fan Tokens by Moxie volume. This frame allows you to see the total volume of Fan Tokens you've traded, the number of trades you've made, and a breakdown of how much you've bought and sold. It's a valuable tool for anyone looking to track their trading activity and make informed decisions based on their transaction history.

Supercast

• Woj.eth is working on a suite of new features for Supercast, aimed at enhancing the user experience for Moxie enthusiasts. Among the upcoming additions are a stats display and a button to claim your vested airdrop or daily reward directly within Supercast. Additionally, Woj.eth is developing a badge for Fan Token holders, as well as the ability to display Far Score and Far Rank on the Supercast profile. They are also integrating in-app buy/sell functionality for Fan Tokens within the profile. Some of these features are expected to go live within the next week, promising to significantly enhance the Supercast platform

Intelligent

• The integration of Moxie with Intelligent has been announced, introducing an integrated Moxie Score on casts, which offers users immediate insights into the value of their engagements. Additionally, a Moxie Module for high-end analytics is currently in development, promising advanced tools for deep data analysis within the Moxie ecosystem.

Ryan J. Shaw

• Ryan J. Shaw has made the source code for his Dagster Moxie Fan Token Earnings Offchain -> Dune data pipeline available on GitHub. This comprehensive guide includes features such as querying multiple pages of Fan Token Auction data from the Airstack GraphQL API, efficiently looking up associated Moxie Lifetime Earnings data in batches, and producing a CSV file suitable for upload into Dune. The pipeline also utilizes the DuneClient to upload the CSV data as a table, providing a streamlined process for analyzing and visualizing Moxie Fan Token earnings.

Rainbow

• Fan Tokens can now be swapped in Rainbow, making it the first wallet to enable this feature. To celebrate this new capability, Mike Demarais has launched the biggest Points boost ever—a 5x multiplier on all Moxie Fan Token swaps in Rainbow. To take advantage of this offer, you'll need some $MOXIE. Here's how you can maximize your Points earnings with this exciting new feature.

Tempetechie.eth

• Tempetechie.eth has created a helpful guide on what to do if a Moxie frame doesn’t show up in your direct cast. This guide offers step-by-step instructions to troubleshoot and resolve common issues, ensuring that users can fully utilize Moxie frames without interruption. 

Chriscocreated

• Chriscocreated has launched a unique mint named Moxie OGs, which features the Moxie logo creatively composed of the names of everyone active on the platform. This mint celebrates the vibrant Moxie community by immortalizing its members in a visually striking and meaningful design. 

• Chrisocreated has also launched a new feature that provides a feed of all your fans' casts, making it easier to interact with them directly. This feed streamlines the process of engaging with your fans, allowing you to stay connected and responsive to their activity within the Moxie ecosystem.

PeakFeed

• PeakFeed now supports a Moxie Feed, designed to make engaging with your Moxie Fan Token holders easier and more streamlined. This new feature allows users to interact more effectively within the Moxie ecosystem. Looking ahead, PeakFeed has several exciting features in their pipeline, including a Channel Fan Token Feed, comprehensive Moxie statistics, and the ability to follow Fan Token holders. These upcoming tools promise to further enhance the user experience and deepen connections within the Moxie community.

Streamm.tv

• You can now Moxie gate your livestreams and videos on Streamm.tv, making them accessible exclusively to your Fan Token holders. Just like other casts, video and livestream casts on the platform will earn Moxie, offering creators a new way to monetize their content and reward their most dedicated fans.
