Airstack News: API Access Now Requires Fan Tokens

• Effective immediately, Airstack will no longer accept fiat payments for access to their APIs. To use Airstack APIs, including the Airstack Frame Validator, you must hold at least 1 /airstack Fan Token. This process is currently manual—once @ipeciura.eth or @yosephks.eth confirms that you have the required Fan Token in any of your connected wallets, they will issue you a Production API key. This key will grant you unlimited usage with the highest possible rate limits, and it also includes unlimited use of Airstack AI. CSV Downloads will be available soon as well. The system will periodically check to ensure you still hold the Fan Token; if not, your production key will be deactivated.

• The Moxie team is set to release a major new feature that allows anyone publishing a frame from the Warpcast Composer Actions to become the "earner," with their fans also sharing in the rewards. The original composer actions/frame developer must opt-in to this feature and can collaborate with the Moxie team to program custom splits, ensuring a tailored rewards experience.

Security Update: Recent Attack on Moxie and Measures Taken

• The Moxie team observed an attack on the platform. This attack resulted in millions of dollars in trading volume of Fan Tokens and led to the burning of 3,668,701 MOXIE from fees, bringing the total burned MOXIE to 21,905,451. In response, the team has implemented a fix and shut down this type of attack. As part of the resolution, all transaction fees from the sale of Fan Tokens will no longer be released immediately but will instead be included in everyday rewards claims. Additionally, any fees earned through malicious activities will not be released and will be burned instead, ensuring the security and integrity of the platform.

• This September, an exciting creator experiment kicks off with Moxie, offering an opportunity for creators to earn Moxie by hosting Farhouse rooms. To participate, creators need to register using the frame and ensure they have their own Fan Tokens. If you haven’t launched your Fan Tokens yet, you can easily do so using the quick links pinned to /airstack. For every Farhouse room hosted, Moxie will be earned based on the FarScores of the participants, with the rewards split as follows: 70% to the host and their Fan Token holders (according to the host's Moxie splits), 20% to general attendees, and 10% to fans of /farhouse.
